Job Overview
As a Mobile Mechanic in the RAC Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you will deliver first‑class vehicle maintenance and diagnostic services directly to customers at their driveways and office car parks. You will work independently from day one, providing a flexible alternative to traditional garage work.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and safety checks on a range of light vehicles.
* Deliver customer service on the front of the business – advising, problem‑solving and representing the RAC with pride.
* Manage your own workload, working a 40‑hour week with core hours from 08:30 to 17:00 and one Saturday each four weeks.
* Make on‑site decisions and handle new challenges independently.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician.
* Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
