We are looking for a Utilities Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team on the Lower Thames Crossing Project based across Essex and Kent. You will share expert advice and guidance to the members of the project team and other parts of the business related to Utility survey best practice.
What you'll do:
1. Ensure that the project have the appropriate technical skills to deliver the requirements related to detection and avoidance of Utilities.
2. Provide a topographical survey in preparation for utility engineering works on site, setting out for the works, reports and measures and final survey information.
3. Support the Engineering and Survey teams in co-ordination across all technical work streams. Technical work streams may include but are not limited to, all engineering disciplines, design management, digital engineering, sustainability, engineering surveying, asset management and industrialisation.
4. Ensure the Utilities survey register is set up and used by the engineering team.
5. Capture, record and manage a variety of utilities information and ensure seamless utilisation of subsurface data across the project in line with PAS128 and PAS256
What you'll bring to the role:
6. Degree in Land Surveying, Engineering Surveying or Civil Engineering: (Desirable) or
7. ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying, Engineering Surveying or Civil Engineering previous experience as a utility surveyor.
8. Qualification in Utility Detection, QCF Levels 3-5 (Level 3 minimum)
9. Extensive awareness of appropriate utility survey equipment, software and working methods.
10. Full professional Membership of CICES or equivalent body: (Desirable)
