We are Framlingham College Prep School, a co-educational day and boarding school (2 – 13) found in the most outstanding rural location in Suffolk. We are set on a historic estate in the countryside a few miles away from Framlingham College Senior School, so we look and feel like a stand-alone independent prep school, but we are a through school to Framlingham College Senior School. We are known as a school which adapts and responds to the individual child. We accept them for who they are, find out what makes them tick and encourage them to try new things, be ambitious, and find their passions. Role
We require a hardworking and proactive Teaching Assistant who will plan a key role in supporting teachers working across the Nursery to Year 2. The role will suit someone with a passion for enthusing and empowering students to achieve their very best.
Responsibilities
* Support teachers across the Nursery to Year 2 with planned activities and day-to-day classroom duties.
* Encourage and empower students to participate, explore interests, and develop skills to achieve their best.
* Contribute to a positive, energetic, and optimistic learning environment.
* Collaborate with staff to adapt approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Passion for enthusing and empowering students; proactive mindset.
* Energy, optimism, and the ability to work across early years and KS1 settings.
* Willingness to engage in ongoing CPD and contribute to a supportive team culture.
* Commitment to term-time hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (38.75 hours per week) during 33 weeks of the year.
