Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Trainee Optical Assistant role located in Portadown. The Trainee Optical Assistant will be responsible for assisting with optometry services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing excellent customer service on a day-to-day basis. This role requires in practice training alongside the ABDO trainee optical assistant course that will gain the trainnee a qualification (this course is funded by Mackey Opticians).
Qualifications
* Interpersonal Skills, Communication, and Customer Service skills
* Knowledge or interest in Optometry
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
* Relevant certification or training in Optometry is beneficial
