We are seeking a committed and resilient Science Teacher to join a specialist secondary SEMH school in Wokingham on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and motivated to make a lasting impact on young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
* Teach Science across the secondary age range
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* Support pupils to re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes
* Create a calm, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
* Work closely with pastoral staff, therapists, and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience teaching Science at secondary level
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
Previous SEMH or alternative provision experience is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
