Job Advert
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring Support Worker to join our Domiciliary Care Service on a permanent, part time basis (20 hours a week). We are based in Yaxley, situated just outside Peterborough.
As you are likely to support more than one person each day, and some support is provided in the surrounding area, a driver with access to a vehicle they can use to get from venue to venue is essential.
Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Currently shifts start as early as 7am, and evening shifts finish by 8pm. Flexibility is a must as you will need to be available to work across various venues and shifts.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
