OUR HOTEL
The Holiday Inn Blackpool & Marco's New York Italian Restaurant, an IHG Hotel, opened in April 2024. This brand new four-star hotel is part of a wider regeneration project for Blackpool, including retail units and improved public transport links, with a new tram terminal, all within the Talbot Gateway central business district. The hotel boasts 144 bedrooms, 3 meeting rooms, and the renowned restaurant Marco Pierre White New York Italian, with independent street access.

A Day in the Life of a Guest Services Supervisor at the Holiday Inn Blackpool
What you'll be doing...
* Lead and motivate the guest service team with a positive vibe, helping create a welcoming and seamless service experience.
* Oversee daily shift activities, from setting up tables to ensuring guest check-ins flow smoothly and guests are satisfied.
* Support and guide the team, helping with training and encouraging everyone to deliver their best.
* Handle guest requests and resolve issues confidently, maintaining a responsive and upbeat service.
* Coordinate with all departments from front office to housekeeping to keep operations running smoothly.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, ensuring readiness for each shift.
* Assist with scheduling and shift planning to ensure the team is prepared.
* Maintain all service areas, ensuring cleanliness and health & safety compliance.
What We Need From You
* A natural people person excited to take on a leadership role, with experience in food and beverage or hotel operations.
* Strong communication skills to motivate and energize the team while ensuring smooth operations.
