Overview Of The Role
Phoenix enables digital transformation in the workplace, empowering UK organisations to innovate and transform with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, data, AI, security, and collaboration tools.

We are now very excited to grow the team further by hiring a Business Development Executive who will operate in an overlay capacity focusing on growing revenue for Network Security vendors.

What will you be doing?

* Supporting our sales teams as the go-to resource for Network Security opportunities and conversations with customers.
* Building your knowledge and confidence in Network Security solutions so you can bring insight to both colleagues and clients.
* Owning a sales and GP target and working towards agreed KPIs, with regular tracking and reporting.
* Partnering with marketing to create and deliver tailored campaigns that generate new opportunities.
* Working closely with leading Network Security vendors to maximise resources, joint planning, and business growth.
* Acting as the link between customers and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
* Organising and running vendor days, events, and enablement sessions to promote our security offering.
* Helping to train and onboard new starters in the basics of Network Security.
* Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within our existing customer base.
* Keeping shared product and vendor information up-to-date and accessible for the wider team.
* Attending regular reviews with management and vendor partners to agree objectives and track progress.
* Running reports, following up on orders, and chasing opportunities to maximise results.

What are we looking for?
The right person for this role will be someone with 1-3 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management who is ready to take the next step in their career. You don't need a background in security or technology, what matters is your proactive approach, sales-first mindset, and willingness to learn.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Account Management role.
* A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to identify and create new opportunities.
* Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
* Confident in running sales campaigns and following up to drive pipeline growth.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, both face-to-face and over the phone/online.
* Comfortable working to targets and KPIs with a sales-first mindset.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities at once.
* Commercially aware and able to understand how to maximise opportunities for growth.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to learn new technologies and markets.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot).

Where is the role based?

Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42) with 2-3 days per week in the office expected.

How many interviews?

Following a screen with the Recruitment Team you can expect a two-stage interview process, one online and one in-person.

As part of our recruitment process due to the nature of the work we do, all employees are required to undertake a Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) check. While some employees require further security clearance, the BPSS check is a must-have requirement and all offers of employment are conditional pending the passing of this check.
