Job Role: Office Manager Location: Sevenoaks Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Travel Allowance: £5,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (Office Based) Start Date: January 2026 Our client, a growing SME Main Contractor, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Office Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day running of their head office and support their wider operations. his role is fully office-based and would best suit candidates living locally. Suitable locations include West Kent and nearby areas such as Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks area, Swanley, Bromley, Orpington and surrounding villages. The Role: As Office Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and professional operation of the office, acting as the central point of coordination for office, site and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities: * Overall day-to-day management of the office * Front-of-house duties including answering phones, reception, meeting & greeting clients, and preparing meeting rooms and refreshments * Liaising with office cleaning contractors * Managing office, sales office and site office supplies * Managing kitchen supplies * Overseeing document control and SharePoint * Monitoring shared business email accounts and responding where appropriate * Managing shared calendars * Supporting the Accounts team with site returns, receipts and petty cash * Providing first-line support with IT-related matters * Ordering PPE for site teams About You: * Proven experience as an Office Manager within a small Main Contractor or SME * Comfortable taking ownership in a hands-on, all-rounder role * Highly organised, reliable and self-motivated * Practical, resilient and able to work autonomously * This role would not suit candidates from PLC or large corporate environments What’s on Offer: * Salary of £35k - £40k for the right candidate * £5,000 travel allowance * 28 days holiday plus bank holidays plus 2–3 discretionary days during the Christmas shutdown * Free parking * Long-term, stable opportunity within a growing business Job Role: Office Manager Location: Sevenoaks Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Travel Allowance: £5,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (Office Based) Start Date: January 2026
