The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join their team. You will work within themercial Team reporting to our Pre-Con Project Director to deliver accurate estimating and cashflows for a multitude of schemes,pleting all-epassing development appraisals and cashflows. Ideally, you wille from a housebuilding or residential developer and be experienced in pricing multi-tenure schemes, with a key focus on key group KPI’s such as ROCE, Peak Funds and Immediate Cash requirements, through thepletion of detailed cashflows.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experienced in pricing residential development, with elemental BQ experience for all major infrastructure works.
2. A proven track record in a similar position within a housebuilding, residential contractor.
3. Experience working with various internal and external stakeholders
4. Ability to utilise current and new networks to assist with the estimating process
5. Strongmitment to achieving deadlines
6. Able to work efficiently on own initiative, prioritising as necessary
7. Ability to collaborate with others and inter-departmental discussions and workshops, to drive value and efficiencies.
8. Willing to work extra to meet deadlines as and when the business needs require it
9. Experiencepleting detailed cashflows, both in Excel and Coins, for multi-tenure developments, including Joint Ventures and pure contracting sites.
10. Full ownership of the cost library within the regions master appraisal.
11. Strong experience of Excel and appraisal models.
12. Experience with Bluebeam.
13. Knowledge of the efficiencies and key drivers present within multi-tenure developments.
14. Experience producing CSAs for varying tenures, maximising day 1 cash.
15. Experiencepleting Homes England Tenures and the necessary tender forms and process.
16. Experience bidding and estimating schemes within the Midlands within the residential sector.
