Central Employment are pleased to be working with a successful metal distribution, family run business within Newcastle. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a Branch Sales Manger to join their team.
Branch Sales Manager profile:
Sales and management of core product range, stock, HR, health and safety, quality, capital goods and property. All revenues and costs attributed to branch.
Key responsibilities:
* Senior manager in charge of all operational activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Marketing, Administration and Distribution for the branch.
* Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees and operational staff and/or other managers' supervisors, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
* Responsible for managing and controlling the branch budget and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the branch in line with General Manager/MD's strategic objectives set.
* Manage and motivate staff, recruit staff, train and develop staff, according to company policies and employment laws, and ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, discipline, grievance, etc)
