We are looking for a Brand & Communications Executive to join our successful Marketing team. This role is based at our Kirkham Office. Role We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Brand & Communications Executive to support our brand channel within the group marketing function, in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. The Brand & Communications Executive plays a vital role within the marketing team, supporting the organisation's brand positioning and image for clients, partners, the media, and colleagues. You will work closely with our content and design-focused team members to brief and produce creative, engaging, and educational content, aligned with our brand guidelines, to be utilised across multi-channel campaigns and communications. This role is pivotal in proactively researching and informing market changes, industry updates, our sustainable future and policy & regulation. You will also work closely with the wider group marketing team to support campaigns, events, new product development and launch strategies and liaise with agencies, suppliers, partners, and sponsors. Responsibilities ' Successfully support on brand-related projects, from initial development through to go live ' Proactively research updates in different markets, industries and government changes and regularly inform on announcements affecting UK businesses, relevant to energy and sustainability legislation. Provide engaging and digestible content to aid understanding for colleagues and clients ' Deliver our brand plan effectively. Work to raise brand awareness and support business growth - delivering activity to generate substantial reach ' Execute the communications plan and support on communications for change and business transformation projects to support the group strategy, translating business messaging into engaging content, delivered across a variety of engaging communication channels ' Champion the brand internally and externally, making sure all colleagues and business streams understand the brand, its goals and are working within the maintained brand guidelines ' Maintain brand integrity and relevance through spot checks across all company marketing, product and partnership initiatives and communications to ensure consistency ' Maintain a distinctive and engaging brand expression, including visual identity and tone of voice ' Support the wider team to produce sales support materials, event content, collateral, bid & proposal content and presentations > Support marketing team with key initiatives and priorities > Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties. What we are looking for Skills Essential: ' A minimum of one years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a B2B environment ' Experience working with multiple brands and managing stakeholder expectations ' Experience in liaising with partners, suppliers and agency resources ' Experience in making technical subject matters client-friendly ' Excellent communication skills - verbal and written ' Positive attitude and unfazed by complex multi-tasking and ability to work to deadlines ' Good knowledge of Microsoft Office ' Strong organisational skills and attention to detail ' As team work is really important to us, we're looking for a respectful and inclusive person that values company culture.
