Job Title: Customer Account Manager – Wholesale (Out of Home Ice cream)

Scope: Full-Time

Location: Kingston upon Thames

Job Purpose

This role sits within the Wholesale team—the beating heart of our Out of Home Ice Cream business. We are a fast‑growing part of the organisation, with a clear ambition to be the fastest‑growth channel in our business. You will lead the growth agenda across three of our largest independent wholesale partners, delivering full end‑to‑end ownership of the commercial plan. With a strong support structure, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our future ice cream strategy in Wholesale. The role requires a high degree of customer-facing time, a passion for building relationships, and the ability to turn insights into action across a sophisticated and fast-moving customer base.

Responsibilities

* Full responsibility for the business P&L across three national independent frozen wholesalers, driving revenue, profitability and market share.
* Deliver both short‑term financial targets and long‑term strategic growth goals.
* Secure internal alignment and unlock budgets by influencing senior stakeholders.
* Act as the face of Ice Cream with Wholesale customers, working closely with the Convenience, Leisure and QSR channel leads to create a connected, future-fit strategy and winning JBPs.
* Create and manage the rolling activity plan including promotional strategy, supported by continuous performance monitoring.
* Build strong, sustainable relationships across customer organisations, facilitating engagement at senior levels.
* Ensure perfect execution of the activation plan by partnering cross‑functionally and driving aligned delivery across channels.
* Guide shopper and trade marketing teams on investment levels based on ROI and commercial insight.
* Proactively develop your own skills and capabilities.
* Role model the behaviours expected across OOH Ice Cream and support teammates as required.
* Organise and prioritise workstreams to maximise customer-facing time and business delivery.

Essential: Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required

* Strong communication and analytical skills.
* Proven commercial acumen and experience with P&L ownership or delivery.
* Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building capability at multiple seniority levels.
* Strong attention to detail and proven track record of delivery.
* Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines with accuracy.
* Self‑motivated, comfortable working autonomously.
* Competitive mindset with a drive to win in market.
* Ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.

Desirable

* Experience in wholesale, convenience or foodservice channels.
* People management experience.
* Experience building and executing customer strategy.
* Ice cream/frozen category experience.
* Experience developing and pitching for new business.

Team membership

* Team Leader – OOH team (Wholesale)
* OOH Customer Director
* Key interfaces with: Brand Managers, Category Managers, Business Partners (Finance, Supply Chain)
