Salary: Starting £46,142 (Level one) rising to £49,282 per annum (pro rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)

About the Role
The Principal Environmental Health Officer will lead and oversee a team of officers delivering outcomes for residents within Nottingham’s Selective Licensing designation.
Qualifications
* Environmental Health degree or equivalent and EHRB or equivalent registration.
* Experience in undertaking private rented sector enforcement and compliance activity, particularly in relation to HHSRS and housing / houses in multiple occupation (HMO) licensing schemes.
* Experience in undertaking housing inspections and providing support and guidance in decision making, and line management experience.
* Knowledge of housing construction and defects, and relevant housing legislation and its application within the role.
* Ability to communicate effectively, manage and lead a team, ensuring effective service delivery.
