Are you an experienced Financial Planning Assistant looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, modern, and highly respected financial planning firm? We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive individual to support our team with a blend of technical and administrative responsibilities.
🔍 About the Role
As a Financial Planning Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of services to our clients. You'll provide key support to both paraplanners and advisers, handling new business processes, managing client communications, and helping to maintain the overall efficiency of the firm.
🧾 Key Responsibilities
Manage communications with new and existing clients, responding to queries efficiently
Support new business submissions and track them through to completion
Assist paraplanners with research and analysis
Prepare client paperwork, book appointments, and welcome clients in person
Liaise with providers and third parties to gather necessary information
Maintain accurate client records and technical files within our systems
Promote our brand within the profession and local communities
Stay up to date with industry regulations and legislative changes
Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the administrative function
🎓 What You’ll Need
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial planning firm
Minimum R01 qualification
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Confident using financial planning software and MS Office
A proactive, team-oriented approach and a strong sense of integrity
