Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stitcher to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing with an eye for detail, ensuring that all items are crafted to the highest standards.
Must be highly creative and willing to work with our exclusive designs and fabrics. This role is essential in maintaining the quality of our products and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Creative input is encouraged as many of our orders are bespoke to individual customers specifications.
Duties
* Operate sewing machines and other equipment to create high-quality homewares and soft furnishings.
* Follow patterns and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
* Exhibit flair for colour and pattern matching.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the warehouse environment.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Experience
* Proven experience in creative sewing, preferably within a studio or workshop setting.
* Familiarity with various sewing techniques and materials.
* Ability to work independently in addition to being part of a small efficient team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Excellent time management skills to meet production targets effectively.
* Reliability is a key requirement for this position.
