The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will include:
1. The planned and reactive maintenance and service of all the state-of-the-art kit on site
2. Work alongside a diverse high skilled on-site maintenance engineering team of 10 engineers.
3. Mechanically you will mainly be replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics.
4. Operate lathe milling machines and conduction machining/fabrication work as an when required
5. Interpret engineering drawings
The Person
To be successful in your application for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will need:
6. A mechanical NVQ Level 3 qualification, time served
7. Maintenance experience in a high speeds production, manufacturing, FMCG environment is highly desirable but not essential
