Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to oversee the operations within our care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior and management level, with specific experience in assisted living and nursing home environments. This role is crucial in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care, while also leading and supervising a team of caregivers. The Support Manager will be responsible for implementing support plans plans, managing staff, and fostering a compassionate environment for both residents and staff.
Duties
* Oversee daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs.
* Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care, and all needs are met for residents and staff.

* Conduct regular assessments of resident health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
* support in evictions, audits, maintenance, handling claims, bcc calls
* filling voids and empty rooms
* more than tick box exercise
* supporting staff with daily needs and seeing through the daily provision of the business.
* admin work involved, working on claims, networking and building excellent relationships with existing and potential stakeholders,
* weekly meetings with staff and director
* on call responsibility
* RSL AND PAPERWORK EXPERIANCE IS NEEDED ESSENTIAL
* MUST DRIVE AND ACCESS TO OWN CAR.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a management role within supported accommodation and exempt accommodation, social housing HMO
* previously managed or senior level within this housing sector.
* healthcare qualifications is preferred but not necessary
* full enhanced DBS will be carried out,
* Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams effectively.
* Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
