Limewood Care Home is a purpose built service in Stafford, providing specialist dementia, nursing and respite care for 59 residents. The home offers a structured and supportive environment for individuals with complex health needs, combining clinical expertise with a strong focus on dignity, wellbeing and person‑centred care.
Night Senior Support Worker
* £12.71 per hour
* 38 hours per week
* Pension, paid DBS, free uniform
* 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Night Senior Support Worker, you will lead the care team overnight, ensuring residents receive safe, consistent and high quality care within a calm and well managed environment. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of the shift, providing clear direction and support to the team.
You will support residents with personal care, mobility and night time routines, ensuring comfort, dignity and reassurance throughout the night. You will respond appropriately to changing needs, incidents or emergencies, maintaining a safe and controlled environment at all times.
You will oversee medication administration, maintain accurate records and ensure all care plans are followed correctly. Working closely with the wider team, you will support effective communication and contribute to a consistent and professional approach to care.
What We Are Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards
* Medication training and competency in administration
* Experience supporting or leading within a care environment
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* A calm, reliable and compassionate approach
