Role Overview As part of Sodexo’s I2020 account, we are seeking an experienced Estate Strategy & Planning Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Client’s estate strategy and asset planning functions at our Belfast Site (BT9 7JG) This role is responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, and CAD technicians to deliver strategic, data-driven estate solutions that enhance asset condition, functionality, efficiency, and sustainability. The post holder will work closely with Asset Inspection Services and the PMO/Projects Service to ensure estate investment decisions align with organisational objectives, statutory compliance, and long-term value. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation, delivery, and ongoing updates of the Estate Strategy, Asset Management Strategy, and supporting documents across the contract lifecycle Translate asset data, inspection outputs, and organisational needs into clear, deliverable estate strategies and 10-year Estate Programmes of Work and 15-year planning horizons Oversee the development of Master Plans, Blueprint designs, and strategic estate projects, ensuring alignment with operational needs, compliance, and long-term transformation Manage a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, and CAD technicians, promoting a high-performance, collaborative, and innovative culture Develop and maintain asset management plans, strategic reports, and design standards to support informed investment and operational decision-making Engage with stakeholders across technical, operational, and senior leadership teams to ensure alignment and governance of estate strategies Produce State of the Estate reports, KPI dashboards, and benchmarking data to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making Candidate Profile Degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, Estate Management, or related discipline Chartered status desirable (RICS, RIBA, CIOB, or equivalent) Significant experience in strategic asset management, estate planning, and capital programme development within the public sector Proven track record of delivering estate strategies, masterplans, and asset management plans Strong knowledge of ISO 55000 / PAS 55, RIBA Plan of Work, and public sector governance requirements Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities Experience with BIM, CAD/3D modelling, and integrating asset data into planning (desirable) Why Join Sodexo Lead the strategic planning of a high-profile, multi-siteI2020 estate in Belfast Influence long-term estate investment decisions, sustainability, and operational efficiency Work within a collaborative, professional environment with clear governance and reporting expectations Opportunities for professional development and career progression Ready to be part of something greater?
