Care Assistant
East Grinstead | £12.21–£13.50 per hour | Long Days & Nights
1Four1 Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Care Assistants and Healthcare Assistants to provide temporary staff cover within residential care homes in East Grinstead and the surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for compassionate care professionals looking for flexible temporary work supporting elderly residents in well-run care homes. You will be part of a dedicated care team delivering high-quality, person-centred care while ensuring residents are treated with dignity, respect, and kindness.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting residents with personal care including washing, dressing and toileting
• Assisting residents with mobility and moving safely around the home
• Supporting residents during mealtimes
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Following individual care plans and health & safety procedures
• Working closely with the wider care team to maintain a safe and caring environment
• Helping promote resident independence and wellbeing
Requirements
• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker
• Experience working within elderly residential care homes
• Comfortable supporting residents with personal care
• A caring, patient and respectful approach to care
• Ability to work long day and night shifts
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
