We also have an additional facility within the hospital grounds, offering bespoke packages of care as part of our bespoke therapeutic placement (BTP) offering. We are a sector-leading example of providing a wide variety of care settings and clear care pathways focused on recovery, benefiting all individuals.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to our patients' wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help individuals move forward confidently and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a key role in patients' recovery by assisting qualified staff with assessments and implementing individual care plans, as well as undertaking routine tasks to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment.
* Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
* Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care in collaboration with patients and their carers/families, respecting patient choices and wishes, and acting as the patient's named nurse.
* Accurately observe and engage with patients to assess their needs and evaluate their progress.
What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is essential. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will support others through both highs and lows.
The ideal candidate is a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6-12 months of post-registration experience, active NMC registration, and completion of a preceptorship programme. They should have a solid understanding of NMC guidelines, professional standards, and practices, along with evidence of ongoing professional development. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to continuous improvement, quality, and embracing change are crucial qualities for this role.
