Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take the lead on managing client accounts, ensuring accuracy and providing exceptional service. Your key duties will include:
* Preparing and reviewing accounts for clients with turnovers between c.£500k and c.£500m
* Completing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts
* Liaising directly with clients, building strong relationships, and offering proactive financial advice
* Reviewing the work of junior team members and supporting their development
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and added value for clients
* Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations

Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice
* Expertise in preparing accounts, VAT returns, and management accounts
* Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A proactive attitude and a drive to succeed in your career
