The Role: Lead Electrical Maintenance Technician
Are you a well-qualified and experienced electrical technician/engineer, with a background in the process engineering industry, ideally energy from waste (although applications from other heavy industries are very welcome)? Then we want to speak to you!

What will I be doing?
You’ll ensure our STV 1, 2 & 3 energy recovery plant is fully operational at all times. Day-to-day, you’ll plan and carry out maintenance activities, lead and develop your team, and ensure safety, health, and environmental standards are maintained. A cost-effective approach is important, but adherence to best practices is crucial.
Using your knowledge and experience, you’ll lead/mentor junior members of the electrical maintenance team to perform at their best and provide specialist advice whenever required.
What are the requirements?
This role is suited for a confident professional who has worked in a heavy industry in a hands-on maintenance role. You’ll have an HNC in Electrical or Instrumentation field (or equivalent experience), and good working knowledge of environmental legislation. A Health & Safety qualification would be advantageous, but we are more interested in your ability to lead a team, explain technical matters clearly, and improve plant availability.
