Role Description
WE’RE HIRING: MUSIC PLUGGER ( FREELANCE ) FOR OUR DEVELOPMENT TEAM FOR OUR LABEL
We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Music Plugger to work with independent artists and releases across a wide range of genres.
This is a fixed-rate role paying £400 per artist release,
ideal for someone who is proactive, organised, and passionate about breaking new music and establishing connection.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Playlist plugging (editorial, independent, curator & influencer playlists)
* Press & media outreach (online magazines,, premieres & features)
REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience as a music plugger or in music promotion
* Connects to commercial radio station and urban background
* Strong industry contacts across multiple platforms
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Experience in club promotions
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Genuine passion for discovering and promoting new music.
* Securing artist airplay and releases
* Music tastemakers & influencers
* Genre-specific platforms and outlets
* Sync & industry outreach (where relevant)
* Campaign reporting and artist feedback
