JDR Recruitment are recruiting for experienced Welder Fabricators to join our clients team based in Usk, NP15 .
The role:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, with a strong focus on producing high-quality fabrication work to specification.
Your key responsibilities will be:-
* Fabricate and weld components according to technical drawings and instructions
* Carry out MIG welding competently. There will be minimum required units to be created daily
* Operate workshop machinery such as grinders, saws, drills, and plasma cutters
* Measure, cut, and assemble metal structures with precision
* Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
* Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
About you:
As an experienced Welder Fabricator you will have the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Good understanding of health & safety practices
* Own tools and PPE (desirable)
* Welding certifications (preferred but not essential)
