Service Type: Ofsted-registered EBD children's homeAbout the RoleWe are recruiting experienced and qualified Residential Support Workers to join a high-staffed, therapeutic solo-placement home supporting a young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).Due to the needs of the young person and known historical behaviours, female applicants are preferred in line with lawful occupational requirements under the Equality Act 2010.This is an excellent opportunity to join a values-led, person-centred home offering strong staffing levels (2:1) and a consistent shift pattern, with fast-tracked interview and onboarding available.Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent, trauma-informed care to a young person on a 2:1 staffing ratio
* Act as a positive role model, promoting trust, safety, and routine
* Support with daily routines, education, appointments, and emotional regulation
* Record detailed, accurate daily logs and contribute to care planning
* Ensure safeguarding standards and quality care are upheld at all times
Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in EBD or solo placement settings preferred
* Full UK driving licence (essential due to rural location)
* Ability to commit to a 2-on, 4-off rolling rota including sleep-ins
* Female applicants only (due to specific risk-assessed behavioural history)
* Must be 21 or over in line with Ofsted regulation
