Family Support Worker (Children's Services)
Part-Time 6 hours on a Saturday each week

Family Support Worker
To design and deliver a programme of activities to improve outcome for children living in families where there is conflict and separation.
As a Family Support Worker you will deliver children centred sessions exploring children's emotions with the aim of strengthening and improving family relationships for the benefit of the children and improving confidence and coping skills.
Will be supporting families to improve parenting skills, ensuring their approach is child centered as well as facilitating supported and supervised contact sessions.
You will work with the family courts to deliver interventions for separated families, manage your own case load and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Candidates must have at least NVQ Level 3 in a Health and Social Care subject. A degree in Social Work would be advantageous, good organisational skills, people and IT skills are essential.
