Role responsibilities
The Application Operations Engineer supports the operational management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of key corporate applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and CRM. It will ensure the availability, performance, and security of business-critical systems used across Transport for Wales (TfW).
* Supports the day to day operations and performance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, CRM and other enterprise systems.
* Contributes to service delivery to 5,000+ users across the organisation.
* Work within a wider IT&DS team of c70, and support the configuration, administration, development, upgrade planning and implementation, handover to BAU (IT Service Desk), and provide escalation support to IT Service Desk for issues experienced with corporate applications.
* Plan up to six months ahead and implementing application and system updates and changes.
Who we're looking for
* Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
* Experience supporting enterprise applications and ERP systems.
* Understanding of finance systems and business processes.
* Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
