About the Role
We are looking for a detail‑driven production professional to join our Education Manufacturing team, taking ownership of titles across the Secondary and International lists. This role covers both frontlist and backlist titles, as well as Specials and all associated ancillary materials. Working closely with the Manufacturing Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality products on time and within budget, while supporting wider objectives around cost efficiency and production excellence.
You will manage projects end‑to‑end, from estimating through to delivery - this includes compiling and negotiating manufacturing estimates, setting and maintaining production schedules, managing reprints in line with agreed SLAs, and sourcing materials for non‑standard manufacture. You will also be responsible for validating and approving supplier invoices, monitoring costs and quantities, and ensuring all work adheres to agreed quality, schedule and budget requirements.
As a collaborative team member, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. You’ll support the Manufacturing Team Leader, provide cover for colleagues when required, and participate in cross‑team projects and business improvement initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of production processes and industry developments, while actively identifying and informing on potential cost‑saving opportunities.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
