A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a market-leading organisation during an exciting period of growth. This is a key role within an established and expanding business, where you'll be responsible for coaching and guiding teams to achieve targets, meet customer SLAs, and uphold quality and performance standards.

Requirements
Ability to pass UK SC Clearance
Experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain environment
Knowledge and maintenance of ISO Standards, including ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
Proven background in managing and delivering change
Experience leading teams in a KPI-driven environment with customer penalties for missed targets
Level 3 Leadership & Management apprenticeship (or equivalent) - desirable
Coaching-led leadership style
IOSH trained (desirable; training can be provided)
Understanding of operational management systems
Broad knowledge of people policies and practices
Strong data-driven decision-making skills
Excellent communication and organisational ability
Experience developing, leading and motivating teams
Commitment to continuous development (self and others)
Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
Lead service delivery across all sites within your remit
Ensure timely and accurate completion of customer service requests in line with SLAs and operational plans
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure all sites operate in line with current SOPs
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maximise revenue
Provide effective customer solutions
Manage site P&L, with close control of operational costs
Document new or customer-specific processes, deliver staff training, and report any variances
Oversee the safety and maintenance of critical site infrastructure and ensure facility security
Promote and uphold all H&S compliance procedures for colleagues, visitors, and contractors
Ensure equipment and vehicles undergo regular inspections, reporting any safety concerns
Confirm colleagues are trained before operating equipment
Monitor and enforce mandatory safety and compliance training
Manage, motivate and develop operational teams
Forecast and plan resources in line with business needs, including headcount, equipment and budgets
Foster a high-performing culture by developing high-potential colleagues and addressing underperformance pro-actively
Ensure adherence to all site accreditations, including ISO standards
Lead on internal and external audits and support the quality team where required
Maintain compliance with company guidelines, including code of conduct, quality systems, business continuity, environmental, information security and health & safety standards
