EYFS – Reception Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Location: Banstead | Rate: £90–£100 per day | Contract: Long-Term

We’re working with an Outstanding primary school in Banstead that is seeking a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Reception child. This is a long-term role where you’ll become a trusted part of the school community and a key figure in a child’s early learning journey.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting a Reception pupil 1:1 to help them thrive academically and socially
Creating a calm, encouraging environment where the child feels safe and confident
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow learning plans
Assisting with play-based learning, routines, and emotional support
About you:
Experience working with EYFS or SEND children (school-based experience is a bonus)
A patient, positive, and nurturing approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly
Ready to commit to a long-term role where you’ll make a lasting impact
