A Japanese Yakiniku restaurant located in central London is seeking a Floor Manager who will be responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations.

WORKING HOURS: 5 days a week, approx. 45 hours (shift-based; system in place to take either Saturday or Sunday off)
SALARY: £30–35k + service charge (depending on experience)
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Central London
Floor Manager Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and managing all front-of-house operations
• Staff supervision, training, and shift management
• Customer service (including table service, reservation management, and handling customer complaints)
• Yakiniku-specific service: explaining dishes to customers, demonstrating cooking methods, and assisting with grilling at the table
• Managing sales, inventory, and overall operations
Floor Manager Ideal Candidate:
• 3+ years of management experience in a restaurant or shop
• Business-level English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in FOH operations and guest service in the hospitality industry
• Interest in Japanese cuisine and culture
• Strong teamwork and team-leading skills
• Business awareness
• Organisational skills and problem-solving skills
• Friendly and approachable personality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
