Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and well-resourced SEN school near Borehamwood. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work closely with pupils with Autism, alongside other additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH. Whether you have experience in education or care—or you're an aspiring teacher, therapist, or psychologist looking to gain practical experience—we’d love to hear from you. What We’re Looking For: A caring and resilient individual with a strong interest in supporting autistic children A proactive, hands-on approach to learning support Excellent communication skills and a calm, supportive nature Experience working with children with Autism or other additional needs (desirable but not essential) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to autistic pupils and others with SEN Assist teachers in delivering engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual needs Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Support the emotional and social development of pupils Track student progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents Why Work With Supply Desk?
