Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can support children with additional needs in a warm, inclusive primary school? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with special educational needs at a lovely Monmouth primary school.
What You’ll Do:
Work one-to-one with a pupil who requires additional emotional, social, or academic support.
Support the pupil’s learning in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum activities.
Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.
Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages independence and confidence.
We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working with children with SEN, either in education, care, or youth work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, adaptable attitude and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.
A child-only Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
