Salary: £13.50 - £14 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00am -4:00pm (Overtime Available)
About the role of the Production Operative
This production operative job is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with small components, following processes carefully, and maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities and Duties for Production Operative:
* Clean and prepare parts before coating
* Mask components using small tools and materials
* Inspect finished work under a microscope to ensure quality
* Remove masking materials and prepare parts for the next stage
* Handle parts safely following ESD and cleanroom procedures
* Keep your work area organised and follow safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
* Comfortable working with small components (some microscope work involved)
* Has good attention to detail and enjoys hands-on work
* Can follow written and verbal instructions accurately
* Works well in a team and is reliable and punctual
* Is willing to follow cleanroom and safety procedures
