Senior Care Assistant – Dementia Residential Home (22 Residents). We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our dementia‑specialist residential home. You will lead shifts, support up to 22 residents, and ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, support with daily living, and meaningful engagement
* Administer medication safely and complete accurate records
* Lead and support the care team, ensuring safe staffing and effective handovers
* Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report concerns promptly
* Uphold safeguarding, dignity, and CQC standards at all times
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
Qualifications & Experience
* Level 3 Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferred
* Experience in dementia care essential
* Medication training/competency desirable
* Strong communication and leadership skills
