Electrical Engineer Location: Disley Industry: Heavy Manufacturing Salary:52,000-56,000 Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) – 7 rotations followed by an 18-day break Our client is a well-established, large-scale manufacturing business. Due to continued investment and a strong focus on reliability and asset performance, they are now seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team at their Disley site. The Role This is a hands-on, plant-based role with a strong focus on, supported by basic mechanical PPM and troubleshooting where electrical maintenance, fault finding, and reliability improvement required. You will play a key role in implementing condition-based maintenance strategies to maximise equipment availability and efficiency across the site. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical maintenance and fault finding on plant equipment including motors, drives, and control panels Diagnose and rectify faults on Distributed Control Systems (DCS) Interrogate PLCs for fault finding and basic condition monitoring Plan, schedule, and complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities Support basic mechanical maintenance tasks such as belts, bearings, seals, and lubrication (CIL) Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work Shift Pattern 4 on / 4 off 2 days followed by 2 nights 7 repetitions per cycle Followed by an 18-day break This pattern offers an excellent balance between work and personal time.
