Overview
The Strategic Networks are established to deliver whole system work programmes which are based on the NHS Outcomes Framework. The Strategic Network work with the Hospital Trusts, national Clinical Reference Group Chairs, Regional teams, NHS England, ICBs, and other partners to deliver programmes of work to achieve better outcomes for each patient group.
The Strategic Networks are the link between providers and commissioners. Any recommendations given to both regional and ICB commissioners, must follow the triple aim. This includes consideration of health inequalities in relation to health and wellbeing, ensuring high quality services within their specialities, and sustainable and efficient use of resources. There will be a requirement in some specialities for Strategic Networks to assist and support a mutual aid process.
The Transformation Support Manager is responsible for training, coaching, and supporting employees to run improvement projects and assist with large-scale change programmes.
