Working for our organisation
As an organisation, we need to consider our part in improving the flow of the patient through the UEC system. The NHS 10-year plan sets out a move to neighbourhood health services, a move to avoiding the 8am primary care rush, a shift from treatment to prevention, an improvement operational performance, a focus on mental health, improving patient choice and empowerment, improving quality of care, a focus on research and innovation, improving digital capability and artificial intelligence, talking health inequalities. This role will be supportive of helping the Trust appraise our options and help build a case for change.
The post will need a high level of autonomy with the ability to visualise the potential work the paramedic workforce of the future. The role will support a QI methodology and involve engagement with our clinical operational teams, current workforce, but also looking broader about what could the workforce capabilities be of the future. There will be a focus on improving clinical diagnostics and enhancing patient assessment as early in the patient journey as possible.

Essential criteria
6. Master's degree or equivalent senior experience in advanced clinical practice or similar
7. Recognised teaching qualification
8. Recognised mentoring or supervision qualification
9. Prescriber or Non-medical prescriber
Desirable criteria
10. Postgraduate teaching qualification
11. Leadership development qualification or demonstrable evidence of leadership development
Experience
Essential criteria
12. Registered with the HCPC, NMC or GMC
13. Accredited Advanced Clinical Practitioner or substantial demonstrable experience of clinical practice at Level 7 skills for health definitions
14. Significant and demonstrable experience in pre-hospital or Community care
15. Experience of teaching at level 6 or above
Desirable criteria
16. Experience of working across organisations and professional boundaries for example: primary care, secondary care, community urgent response, commissioning, education, or other similar environments
