Deputy Chef Manager
Full Time – 37 hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced Chef to join our Home in Hoddesdon as a Deputy Chef Manager. The ideal candidate will need to be someone who can create homely, nutritious meals and bring warmth and professionalism to our kitchen team.
What You’ll Bring
Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices in the workplace
Knowledge of food safety standards and safe working practices
Willingness to complete relevant training and ongoing CPD
Experience maintaining high hygiene standards in food preparation
Practical experience in food preparation, cooking and service
Ability to meet a wide range of dietary needs with well‑balanced meals
A collaborative approach and clear, confident communication skills
Your Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard
Support and guide kitchen staff, helping to build skills and strengthen team performance
Manage food production processes to maintain efficiency and quality
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
