Primary Teacher – Alternative Education
Location: South Shields
Rate: £130–£220 per day

About the Role
We are seeking a Primary Teacher to support pupils in an alternative provision setting, delivering a nurturing and engaging curriculum tailored to individual needs. The role focuses on re-engagement, emotional development and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver creative and engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
* Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.
* Create a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
* Track pupil progress and celebrate successes.
* Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership.
Skills & Experience
* QTS essential.
* Experience supporting vulnerable or SEMH pupils is desirable.
* Patient, nurturing and adaptable teaching style.
* Strong commitment to inclusive practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
