What You Will Be Doing: Lead UK-wide strategic change projects, applying Shingo Operational Excellence principles to enhance both operational and organisational performance. Identify, prioritise, and implement process optimisation opportunities using Lean Six Sigma and WCM methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce variability. Lead cultural transformation initiatives that leverage leading with humility and WCM frameworks, partnering with senior leadership to secure buy-in. Serve as a coach and mentor to teams across the organization, guiding them in the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving techniques. Lead large-scale operational excellence projects from planning to implementation, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Coach, develop, and support team members to build capability, creating robust development plans and upskilling the internal team. Maintain alignment and visibility with senior stakeholders on projects, ensuring the business is informed about current achievements and risks. Ensure that customer feedback and expectations are at the heart of all improvement activities, aligning operational efforts with customer needs. Who You Are: You hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Essential), with a Master Black Belt being preferred. Ideally over 5 years of experience leading continuous improvement projects and controlling cross-functional change. Experienced in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and have a strong track record of running Kaizen events. You possess excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence from the shop floor to the C-suite. Deep knowledge of manufacturing best practices, H&S, and food safety (HACCP) within an FMCG environment. Flexible to work varying hours to align to the start and end of shifts when necessary.
