Job Description:
Your new company
Hays Education is working with a specialist school in South Leicestershire seeking a new Teaching Assistant to start after May Half Term. The school caters to pupils with needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Social Emotional Mental Health Issues (SEMH). This is a temporary, term-time only position.
This Ofsted-rated 'Good' school offers an excellent education with innovative curriculum and specialist staff, including teachers, speech and language therapists, and NHS professionals. Facilities include outdoor spaces and sensory rooms. You will join a dedicated team prioritizing pupils' needs.
Your new role

You'll make a positive impact on children with diverse care needs and personalities. Ongoing support will be provided by your Hays consultant, Hollie.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with children with SEND is essential. A background in social care or related fields with a passion for supporting vulnerable young people is preferred. Ability to adapt to various needs and quickly build relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents is crucial.
**Note: Hays cannot consider overseas candidates for this position.**
