Streamline Recruitment are currently working with a well-established business specialising in warehousing, distribution, and international freight services including sea and air freight.
They are seeking a motivated Internal Sales Coordinator to join their team to support sales and operations with excellent customer service and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently manage inbound customer enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely information.
* Prepare and issue spot quotes for a range of logistics services, including warehousing, sea freight, air freight, and import/export shipments.
* Liaise closely with warehouse, transport, and freight teams to ensure shipments are executed on schedule, consistently meeting customer SLA requirements.
* Provide customers with regular updates on shipment status, proactively communicating any delays or issues.
* Resolve complex queries regarding pricing, transit times, customs documentation, and delivery schedules with professionalism and accuracy.
* Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
* Collaborate with external sales teams, freight forwarders, and operations departments to support client needs and contribute to business growth.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts, promoting additional services such as warehousing, import/export, and customs clearance.
* Maintain ongoing communication with customers to address support enquiries and strengthen client relationships.
* Generate detailed sales reports and oversee general sales operations.
* Utilize LinkedIn strategically to promote services and generate new business leads.
* Manage key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and consistent achievement of KPIs.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous internal sales or customer service experience, within logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or distribution.
* Confident using CRM software, MS Office, and freight management systems
* Proactive and solution-focused with a customer-first approach
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team environment
