Overview
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Facilities and Maintenance Department and all aspects of the business by maintaining, repairing and installing new electrical systems.
Responsibilities
* Conduct routine maintenance and testing on industrial electrical systems
* Use of initiative to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems
* Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations
* Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment
* Perform facility inspections and audits and report any issues raised to Facilities Manager
* Carry out regular PPM
* Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, fire alarm system and access control systems etc
* Comply with site safety procedures and requirements
* Support all production shifts by means of emergency callouts
* Demonstrate good knowledge of site safety and knowledge in risk assessments and method statements
* Perform general site maintenance and liaise with contractors to ensure high standards of work and on time delivery

Qualifications
Essential
* City and Guilds in Electrical Installations or Equivalent
* 5 x GCSEs or equivalent
* 5 + years' experience working on Electrical Industrial machinery
* 5 + years' experience in a highly regulated manufacturing / Engineering Environment
* Good working knowledge of fire detection systems
* Knowledge of communication network systems
* Knowledge of access control systems
* Valid Driving License and access to own vehicle
Desirable
* Organisational / time management skills
