The role of Business Development Manager will involve:
Carl Zeiss Vision UK are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager responsible for a Major National Account, with 5 regional account managers reporting to them.
First point of contact for key stakeholders at customer head office / franchisee owners.
Lead the co-creation of strategies for joint business growth with customers, ensuring internal stakeholders are updated on the latest plans and progress.
Financially model and negotiate agreements for joint business plans, budgeting, and proposals to meet revenue, profit, and trade spend targets.
Develop field team colleagues to execute customer store colleague training and initiatives that drive positive growth, relationship and lens dispensing change for the ZEISS brand. Manage field team to achieve business objectives & career goals with motivational workplans/development plans and ongoing monthly coaching/co travel.
Build a network of contacts in customer accounts so you can gain useful insights and improve the influence of ZEISS vs our competition.
Prepare more compelling presentations/ proposals then the competition using insightful data, clear rationale, and smart look materials.
Oversee the design and consistent implementation of store training materials.
As one of 4 similar roles in KAM team, be a role model of the ZEISS competencies taking leadership roles in team meetings, projects, and share and reapply.
Support the Channel Director with data, presentations, and summaries for meetings.
As a Business Development Manager you will have:
Experience managing direct report(s) with objectives and coaching.
A valid UK Driving License.
