We are currently recruiting for an E‑Commerce Trading Manager to join a pioneering luxury skincare brand with a rich heritage and a strong international presence. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a key stage of its digital growth journey and play a central role in driving DTC performance globally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for owning day‑to‑day e‑commerce trading and merchandising, with a focus on driving revenue, conversion, customer acquisition and retention. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, this role will shape how the brand shows up across its digital channels.
Reporting into the Digital Director, the E‑Commerce Trading Manager will oversee website trading, campaigns, content and operations, manage a direct report within customer experience, and work closely with Supply Chain, Brand, Marketing and external agencies. The role also includes responsibility for Amazon trading, website optimisation and supporting international growth.
This position would suit an experienced e‑commerce or digital trading professional from a beauty or luxury environment who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth settings and is excited to make a meaningful commercial impact.
Responsibilities:
Trading & Performance
* Drive DTC performance across revenue, AOV, LTV and customer growth
* Own global GWP strategy, supporting margin and trade objectives
* Lead stock and inventory planning with Supply Chain
* Support sales forecasting and budgeting; own unit forecasting
* Deliver weekly/monthly performance reporting and insights
Operations
* Line‑manage Senior Customer Relationship Specialist
* Oversee order fulfilment, customer service processes and operational issue resolution
* Support Shopify POS stores, including setup and troubleshooting
Campaigns & Content
* Own website merchandising and content strategy across campaigns and launches
* Manage NPD launches end‑to‑end, including Shopify setup and stock allocation
* Ensure commercial readiness across content, stock and assets
* Plan and execute key website activations and promotions
Digital Development
* Optimise website UX and localisation to drive conversion
* Manage development agencies and UX roadmap delivery
Amazon
* Manage Amazon trading with agency across forecasting, promotions, stock and content
Requirements:
* Experience in e‑commerce, online retail or digital trading
* Proven track record of driving online sales growth
* Experience managing Shopify Plus is preferred
* Background in beauty and/or luxury lifestyle brands
* Customer‑centric with strong analytical thinking
* Confident digital communicator
