Tasks and Qualifications:
Working for a globally recognized customer, the role demands dedication and professionalism, qualities Dematic Customer Services is known for. As a Maintenance Support Technician, you will be responsible for:
Making your impact
* Carrying out first-line response to faults, blockages, and issues on or around automated material handling equipment
* Performing tasks under limited supervision within approved guidelines, following Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements
* Receiving and completing work orders within planned or reactive work assignments
* Resolving faults, blockages, and issues within agreed timescales to ensure service delivery
* Complying with Health & Safety legislation at all times
* Assisting the Maintenance Technician with daily maintenance tasks and helping resolve breakdowns
* Representing the company professionally and maintaining good customer relations
* Proactively helping improve system efficiency and reduce breakdowns
Contributing to the team
* Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical machinery is desirable
* Experience working in a warehouse or automated environment
* Fair to good IT skills
* Good communication, numeracy, and written skills with a strong customer focus
* Strong Health & Safety mindset
* Willingness to work day shifts, night shifts, and weekends
* Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team
* Input ideas to help improve site and team performance
