Service Manager Service Manager - Perth, Scotland - £55,000 Company Vehicle Benefits The Job: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Manager to join a leading global manufacturer within the industrial and heavy equipment sector. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across workshop and field service operations throughout North Scotland. The successful candidate will lead, support and develop a nationwide team of engineers while playing a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and success of the aftersales business. As a member of the management team, you will contribute to strategic decision making and ensure the highest standards of customer support and service delivery. Key Responsibilities - Lead all workshop and field service activities within the designated region - Deliver departmental budgets and key performance targets - Drive continuous improvement across aftersales operations and customer support functions - Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and site visits - Monitor product performance issues and coordinate solutions with relevant internal departments - Develop, mentor and manage a team of engineers to achieve operational and individual performance goals - Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation and company standards The Company Our client is a leading global manufacturer operating within the industrial and heavy equipment sector. The Candidate - Proven experience leading a customer support, service or aftersales operation within a technical or engineering environment - Experience managing, developing and motivating high performing engineering teams - Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets, KPIs and operational performance - Proficient in the use of modern business systems, reporting tools and management information - Sound knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and best practice - Experience or knowledge of the forestry, agricultural, construction, plant, machinery, heavy equipment or related industries - Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel throughout the region as required - Excellent communication, customer relationship, leadership, problem solving and change management skills - Candidates must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of Perth and be eligible to work in the UK The Package - Salary of £55,000 per annum DOE - Company vehicle - Competitive performance related bonus - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service - Option to purchase or sell holiday entitlement - Excellent pension scheme with enhanced employer contributions - Life assurance and income protection benefits - Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities - Inclusive and supportive working environment - Full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week Please email your CV to James Caspersen, Recruitment Delivery Consultant at JCaspersen@agriRS.co.uk.
